NEXT chose this short domain name because it’s a constant reminder of what we are: a college town, or rather, a couple of towns, build around the greatest university in the world, UNC Chapel Hill. We are who we are as a region because of UNC, and in turn, the university is a greater place because of our community
While NEXT is proud to host the domain, we do want to provide the disclaimer that no, we’re not affiliated with either UNC nor the Town of Chapel Hill, the Town of Carrboro, nor any other government entity.
